Another robbery in the Lawyers Road-Lebanon Road area

Mint Hill Police responded to the McDonalds located at 9150 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill Wednesday at 9:40 am in reference to an armed robbery. Officers arrived on the scene and interviewed the witness who was employed by McDonalds and working the drive thru window. The witness stated that a white male driving a white in color pickup truck came through the drive thru and displayed a black handgun. The white male demanded that the witness open the drawer. Former pro athletes play golf to raise money for Samaritan’s Feet

On Monday October 26, Emerald Lake Golf Club hosted the 6th Annual Samaritan’s Feet Golf Classic.  More than 20 NFL, Boxing & Nascar celebrities joined nearly 100 other golfers to help raise funds and awareness for the international efforts of Samaritan’s Feet.  In total more $50,000 was raised to put shoes on needy children in over 50 countries throughout the world.
