Butler literary magazine to publish final edition

Friday marks the 12th and final edition of Butler High School’s Pawprint Literary Magazine. The Pawprint 2009 Literary Magazine release party and Artists Tea will be held at 1 pm in the Media Center. Butler golf tournament nets $3,000 for booster club

The 5th annual Butler High School Booster Club golf tournament was played April 18 at Emerald Lake Golf Club. CMS students selected to attend Governor’s School

Thirty-nine Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students will pack their bags and spend six weeks studying dance, science, English, drama and more at the Governor’s School of North Carolina. The high school juniors and seniors will be among 800 students selected to attend the program from June 14 to July 25.

The students chosen from Butler High School are Willa Folmar (Drama), William Gerhard (Natural Science), Paul Horton (Drama), Phillip Krouse (Drama) and Ivel Posada (Social science).
