Mint Hill man dies in helicopter crash

Mark Bartlett of Mint Hill died in helicopter crash this morning. According to published reports, the helicopter clipped a power line and crashed in Monroe. Bartlett was 46 years old. Car crashes into restaurant on Albemarle Road

If you were up early this morning and were driving along Albemarle Road, you might have noticed EMS on Farm Pond Road. They were responding to an incident where a car plowed into the Paradise Gardens restaurant. There’s no word on injuries or damage. The incident occurred at 6:30 am.
