Mint Hill Police Department collects more than 14,000 pills

The Mint Hill Police Department participated in Operation Medicine Drop last week and successfully collected more than 14,000 pills.  The police department received many positive comments and encouraging feedback from citizens of Mecklenburg County about this initiative.  Due to the outpouring of support, the Mint Hill Police Department is planning to hold medicine drop offs at least twice per year.  The next date is tentatively set for the last weekend in September at the Mint Hill Madness Festival.  […]

Mint Hill Police want you to dispose of meds properly

Mint Hill Police will participate in Operation Medicine Drop, a program aimed at providing the public a safe and secure method for disposing of their prescription and over-the-counter medications.
