Rising kindergarteners are invited to participate in stories and activities that build pre-reading skills and prepare children for school at the library. It is open to children three to five years old. Registration begins June 1 for the June 15 session, and June 15 for the June 29 session. Both sessions start at 2 pm.
The Mint Hill Public Library is hosting Paws to Read Saturday, May 26, starting at 10:30 am. Children between the ages five and 11 can read aloud to a volunteer therapy dog.
