Screen Shot 2014-02-13 at 8.12.40 AMStudents from both Independence and Rocky River High Schools have designed t-shirts with global messages aimed at making a difference in the world.

The Any1Can Project is an arts-based global service learning initiative that allows students to learn about seven complex global issues and create an original work of art on a white t-shirt.

The winning t-shirt designs in each of the seven categories will be mass produced to sell in retail establishments across Charlotte.

The t-shirts raise awareness of seven complex global issues; poverty, hunger, clean water, peace, education, protecting the environment, and teaching tolerance.

The funds raised by the Any1Can Project will go to schooling efforts in South Sudan.

Votes cost one dollar each.

To vote for your favorite, go to www.any1canvotes.org.
