On Friday night the Independence Patriots got double digit point totals from three 

different players in earning another Southwestern 4A Conference win by defeating the
 Myers Park Mustangs 75-51.  The victory keeps the Patriots at the top of the
Southwestern 4A Conference with a 9-1 record with two games remaining.
Workpeh Kofa led the Patriots with 19 points shooting 9-of-13 from the floor including a
 three-pointer.  Senior guard Tayon Gleaves added 16 points knocking down 7-of-12
 shots from the floor.  Deion Lane posted his 14th double-double with 13 points, 10
 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals and one blocked shot.
Zaqwuan Matthews led the Mustangs with 16 points while the Patriots’ defense held all
the other Mustang players to signal digits.
