Police responded to a robbery in progress at Walgreens located at 9209 Lawyers Road last Friday at 9:36 pm. Employees said a tall black male wearing a dark hoodie, baggy jeans, and black gloves entered the store with a handgun demanding money from the register. He left with a purse from the counter and nothing from Walgreens. Police are asking anyone with information to call 704-545-1085.
