CMS uses a staggered entry approach for kindergarten students. Using this method, approximately a quarter of each class’ students attend each of the first four days of school. On the fifth day, the entire class is in attendance. CMS kindergarten students are staggered August 27-30. All kindergarten students are requested to attend school on Aug. 31. Each school determines their own staggered entry schedule. Parents should contact their child’s school to learn more about that school’s staggered entry process.
