As Mint Hill Arts prepares for its future, it has signed a short-term lease on a store front located in The Plaza at 11205 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill. It will now be able to hold members only exhibits for March, April and May in a bright and sunny space.
Call for Artists
Intake is for one day only on Saturday, March 3 from 10 am to noon. If you want to enter, but can not make it during Intake time, call ther Gallery Chair, Tony Billotto at 704-844-2036 or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This will be a non-themed show. All MHA member artists are invited to enter up to two entries: two 2-D, two 3-D pieces, or one of each. All media and subject matter is welcome including water media, oils, acrylics, fabric, collage, mixed, pottery, jewelry, stone, peanut butter, plaster, anything and everything.
Sizes are 2-D artwork not to exceed 36”x36”, 3-D artwork not to exceed an 18” footprint x 24” in height. This rule will be strictly enforced as MHA has limited display space. All work must be properly framed and wired and ready for display.
At this time MHA does not have a dedicated gift shop, so all entries will be included in this show.
Fee will be $10 per artist. All commissions remain the same as before.
MHA has extended all memberships for four additional months to honor the November through February time frame that it was closed. If your updated expiration date has passed, you will need to renew your membership in order to enter this show.
Everyone (members and non-members – those who’ve entered the show and those who haven’t) is invited to the Opening Reception, Friday, March 9, from 7 pm to 9 pm at the above location.
This is a great time to to get information regarding MHA future, exchange ideas, have a glass of wine, some snacks and once again enjoy the great artwork created by its talented members.
