Mint Hill Police are working on reissuing alarm permits to all residences and businesses in the area due to new software being put to use in July 2011. In order to ensure that all residences and businesses have current permits, Mint Hill Police are asking those with monitored alarm systems to visit their website and submit a permit application. This can be done by going to and clicking the link either on the left menu or the link at the top of the homepage.

Once you access this link, you will click on “alarm permit” and fill in the blanks.

Make sure all the information you provide is current and that the emergency contact names and numbers are accurate.

If you do not have access to a computer, anyone can visit the Mint Hill Police Department Monday-Friday 7:30 am-5:30 pm and fill out a permit application in person.
