Gas prices still rising in Charlotte area

According to the site CharlotteGasPrices.com, the average retail gasoline price in Charlotte have risen 13.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.50/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has increased 12.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.47/g, according to gasoline price website.

Ground breaking on new town hall is this Friday

The Mint Hill Board of Commissioners has set the groundbreaking for the new town hall for this Friday at 11 am at the Mint Hill Village site. The groundbreaking is set to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the town’s incorporation in 1971.
