Two Butler golfers in top 30 at state tournament

Two Butler golfers had good showings on the first day of the North Carolina state tournament in Pinehurst yesterday. Logan Garman shot an 83, good for 21st place, and Samantha Wallace fired an 86 that tied her for 29th place. The girls tee off today on Pinehurst No. 1 Course for the final round. The team is coached by Barry Eberhardt. Butler’s team didn’t qualify for the tournament, but here’s the results so far:
