4AA Football seedings released, but no Independence

It’s almost not right to see the 4AA playoff seedings without Independence. But thanks to school reassignment in 2010, Indy was left with an undersized and inexperienced team that fought hard, but continually came up short. Against Butler Friday night, the Patriots suffered their worst loss in more than 10 years, a 61-6 drubbing.

Butler on the other hand seems poised to repeat as state champs despite the loss of key players at quarterback and running back. They are big, they are fast and have a a coaching staff that has proven they can win big games.

Watch for the preview of Butler’s first round match up in this week’s Mint Hill Times.
