Ingersoll to play for UNCC next season
Butler softball’s Chelsea Ingersoll has committed to play for UNCC next season. She will sign her national letter of intent Thursday at the Butler media center. The senior is a three year starter for Butler High School Lady Bulldogs and was on two state championship teams. Her numerous awards include SW4A Catcher of the Year, SW4A All Conference, NCSCA ALL State 1st Team and NCSCA ALL District 1st Team. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Ingersoll’s brother, Mike, starts at right tackle for the UNC Tar Heels football team.
