Butler placed third in the final Wachovia Cup standings at 372.5 points. The Bulldogs had top spring finishes including third in women’s outdoor track and a tie for third in women’s soccer.  The Wachovia Cup award, sponsored by Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, and the NCHSAA, recognizes the high schools that achieve the best overall interscholastic athletic performances within each of the state’s four competitive classifications. The Wachovia Cup program has concluded its 30th year.
