Mint Hill resident seeks identity of soldier in World War II photo

On Monday, Judy Griffin of Mint Hill brought this photo by the Mint Hill Times. She said she got it from her aunt, Beulah Ross, about four years ago after Ms. Ross passed away. Griffin said the photo has haunted her ever since because she doesn’t know who it is. She hope one of our readers might be able to help her identify the World War II soldier. Griffin said her aunt lived in a boarding house in Charlotte during the War, and she would have met soldiers returning home by train.
