Five Mint Hill Chargers to play in all star game

The Mint Hill Chargers will be sending five players back to Orlando to participate in the AYF/Under Armour All American game on January 4, 2009. The game will be played at the Citrus Bowl right before the Under Armour All American High School game. The Chargers head coach, Mike Fairfax has also been selected to coach on the East All American team. The Chargers recently won its second consecutive national championship by defeating Monroe (CT) Lions 20-8 in Orlando Florida.. The players selected for this event are: #34 Josh Glisson – RB/LB; #4 Riley Ferguson – QB; #54 Sean Wiggins – MLB; #20 Malachi Hanes – WR/DB; #44 Spencer Kendall – OG/LB; #21 Uriah Lemay – DE/HB (first alternate).
