Independence student wins Pride Stepping Stone Award

Independence High senior Timothy Johnson won the Pride Stepping Stone Award, which[singlepic=491,320,240,,right] includes a $5,000 scholarship and recognition at the 17th Annual Lowe’s Pride Awards. Purse snatcher caught

On December 11, 2008, after a successful investigation Detective Lezette, with Mint Hill Police Department was able to secure charges on Charlotte Lewis (W-F-47) and Kayla Chasteen (W-F-22) for stealing a purse and cashing checks. The incident occurred on November 20, 2008.
