[singlepic=324,320,240,,left]Independence High School media specialist Jeff Jones passed along a few photos from this Saturday’s CANstruction event in downtown Charlotte. They had 13 students from Independence who worked from 9 am to 2 pm to create the “CANnon” in the One Independence Center lobby in downtown Charlotte. The students were able to create a great sculpture that represented not only Independence but also the Second Harvest Food Bank’s attempt to “Blast away Hunger” this holiday season.
