Independence No. 5, Butler No. 7 in state

No, not in football where Independence and Butler are No.1 and 2 in the state and will face each other in Friday’s rivalry game at Memorial Stadium. In the latest numbers, Independence is No. 5 in the state in total enrollment while Butler is No. 7. Is it any wonder CMS wants to build a new high school in Mint Hill?
