[singlepic=305,320,240,,left]Capt. Kit Tinkham, who served three tours in Iraq with the Air Force, was recently named CFO for the US Navy Weapons Station in Charleston, S.C. Tinkham is a 1995 graduate of Independence High School and a 2001 graduate of Brigham Young University. He earned a Masters in Business Administration in August from Webster University in St. Louis. Kit separated from active duty at Hill AFB (Utah) in January and along with wife, Lynn, recently moved to Charleston to take his new position. The Air Force Reserve 315th Operations Support Squadron in Charleston then recommissioned Tinkham as a captain. He will sever one weekend a month and two weeks a year with the Reserves and could possibly be called up again to serve in Iraq.
“I wish I could have accomplished as much as he has when I was 31,” Keith Tinkham said.
