Queen’s Grant had it’s 5th annual Turkey Dinner Drive this past week. The students and staff brought in enough mashed potatoes, stuffing, yams, green beans, cranberry sauce, gravy, cornbread and brownie mix to fill 100 bags. They also raised $1,000 by having everyone pay a dollar to wear jeans on Fridays. The money raised by this was used to purchase Food Lion gift cards. The bags of food and gift cards will be given to 100 deserving families in our community. Photos by Mark Sward swardpics.com
