Bulldogs blank Davie County

[singlepic=333,320,240,,left]The Butler Bulldogs bounced back from their first loss of the season to cross-town rival Independence last Friday and took out Davie County 24-0 in the first round of the state 4A playoffs.  The Bulldogs were the more dominant team and held the War Eagles to just 12 total yards of offense in the first half despite having three starters miss the game due to injuries.  Deshaun McCutchen, defensive standout Hawatha Bell and starting tailback Markel Moore all were out, but Butler had plenty of firepower left to cruise to an easy victory.
