Game notes:

• Despite the rain for most of the day and night, the turf on the field held up well. The rain also didn’t prevent fans from attending the game. East Meck fans filled the visitor’s side–the biggest showing by an a opponent’s fans this season.

Robert Blanton, watching the game from the sidelines, was overheard saying he wishes he could be out there playing for the Bulldogs. Continue reading

Cheval to partner with Levine Center

cheval.jpgTwo great organizations are getting together. Cheval Equestrian Community in Mint Hill announced this week a  partnership with the Levine Senior Center in Matthews. Cheval developer Keith Paris:

“I am delighted that Cheval is able to partner with The Levine Senior Center. It’s organizations such as this one, that foster fellowships and touch lives that impact the entire community. It’s what makes Mint Hill and Matthews so special,” Paris said.

The partnership details are still being finalized however the arrangement is a long-term relationship between the two entities that is designed to provide community support for both.
