Holloman backs away from Clemson

Rock Hill South Pointe safety DeVonte Holloman backed out of his verbal commitment yesterday after hearing news of head coach Tommy Bowden’s departure from the Tigers. Holloman, a former Independence talent, is the No. 2 high school safety in the country this year according to recruiting Web site
