Because of the Jewish holiday Monday, CMS has moved football games from Monday to Wednesday, October 1 at 7 pm. From CMS:

Friday night football games postponed
Rain and field conditions forces football games to be rescheduled

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 26, 2008 – Today’s rain and concerns about field conditions led some schools to postpone Charlotte-Mecklenburg high school football games. CMS homes games that are postponed will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
Postponed games are usually played on the following Monday; however, the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Monday, Sept. 29. Per Board policy, the district decided to move the high school football games because they are major events that generally involve a greater number of CMS students, staff and parents. Middle and high school sports that were already scheduled for Monday will go on as planned.
Games that will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 1:

West Charlotte at Hopewell
Ardrey Kell at Butler
South Meck at East Meck
Myers Park at Independence
West Meck at Garinger
Waddell at Harding

The North Meck at Central Cabarrus game is postponed until Monday, Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. and the Mallard Creek at Jay M. Robinson game is postponed until Monday at 7 p.m.
The Weddington at Providence and Olympic at Charlotte Catholic games are still going on as scheduled tonight.
