Rep. Sue Myrick officially kicks off her campaign at the Reid House in Matthews, 12-1:30 pm Saturday with an an old-fashioned, family-friendly BBQ and stump speech. Myrick is running against Democrat Harry Taylor and Libertarian Andy Grum. She will also be honored by Sangrock Black Belt World Tae Kwon Do School for her service to the community. Myrick will be presented with an honorary black belt and take part in a board breaking ceremony.
