The NCHSAA released its list of ejection-free athletic programs for the 2007-2008 school year, and Independence High was one of 125 member schools to achieve the status. The Patriots are joined by East Meck as the only two teams in the Southwestern 4A conference to go the whole year without an ejection. Every ejection-free program will be recognized during the next two weeks at the NCHSAA’s regional meetings. The association meets today in Charlotte. The highest number of ejection-free programs is 202 during 2006-2007.
