The Board of Commissioners meeting at 7:30 pm last night was brief, but there was important discussion before and during the meeting.
- The board met at 6 pm yesterday with architect David Creech and his staff. The new town hall might be smaller because the estimated budget was $1 million more than Town Manager Brian Welch wants to spend. Board members also commented on the project’s design.
- The board approved construction of the Lawyers Road sidewalk connecting Traditions at Lawyers Glen to Brighton Park.
- Mayor Ted Biggers attended the meeting last night, and he thanked everyone for their support during his recovery from shoulder surgery last month.
