County employees could shift to 4-day work week

WSOC-TV is reporting Mecklenburg County Commissioner Dan Ramirez will propose at Tuesday’s meeting the board study a plan calling for county employees to work 4-day work weeks. Some employees would work Monday-Thursday, and the rest will work Tuesday- Friday. Sounds like a pretty good idea…

The state of Utah is shifting to a 4-day work week for most state employees. The savings are estimated to be $3 milllion a year in energy costs.
